1. Downloadati Samsung New PC Studio

2. Conectati telefonul la calculator cu cablul de date in modul PC Studio

3. Deschideti Samsung New PC Studio

4. Clic in stanga jos pe Toolbox (arata ca o piesa de puzzle)

5. Selectati Message Manager

6. Clic in dreapta sus pe Menu (arata ca un varf de sageata orientat in jos)

7. Clic pe Export to PC

8. Va alegeti locatia si numele arhivei apoi clic pe Save

Cum sa printezi mesajele din telefon:

7.Clic pe Print si pe OK in fereastra care apare

Flashing Samsung S5230 Star

How I flashed my Samsung's S5230 (S5230 Samsung flashing Star)

Flashing Samsung S5320 Star Tutorial:

(these are the steps followed by me .. I noticed that there are several tutorials on internet about flashing Samsung S5230 but each has something different .. this is created and tried by me, but the others are the basis)

1. Make sure your phone dose not have sim lock before you try and flash. Type *#7465625# and make sure the SIMLOCK is OFF

2. Install: USB Drivers, SGT-S5230 MultiLoader V5.56.

3. Make backups on your contacts with New Samsung PC Studio (located on the Samsung CD or samsungmobile.com).

4. Download the firmware S5230XEIG4 (new menu, get java on card and video streaming working).

5. Make sure that New Samsung PC Studio is not started when you start flashing

6. Unzip the archive with the firmware in a folder.

7. Turn off the phone, remove your SIM and MicroSD.

8. Now press volume-up-button + camera-key + power-button at the same time in switch off mode without attaching the datacable (on the phone screen should appear "Download"). .

9. Attach the datacable to the phone.

10. Open SGT-S5230 MultiLoader V5.56.

11. Select BRCM2133 radio-button, Boot Change and Full Download.

12. Click on the Boot button and choose BOOTFILES folder from the folder where you unarchived the firmware.

13. Click Amss and choose apps_compressed.bin

14. Click Rsrc1 and choose Rsrc_S5230_Open_Europe_Slav.rc1

15. Click Rsrc2 and choose Rsrc2_S5230 (Low) _RU.rc2

16. Click FS and select Factory FactoryFs_S5230_Open_Europe_Slav_RU.ffs

FOTA, ETC and Tune fields are left blank.

17. Click Port Search button.

18. Do step 12 again.

19. Check those Boot, Amss, Rsrc1, Rsrc2 and Factory FS boxes buttons.

20. SHOULD NOT be checked Master Rom.

21. Click Download (in case the "Serial port error", go back at step 17).

Now it must to load quickly the boot files and restart. If it doesn't restart and begins to install directly Amss probably you have not followed all the steps above and the flashing will not have success. But this isn't very serious because it can resume more carefully at step 7. I personally had 2 failed attempts of flashing I got a pink screen. 3rd time was lucky - I followed the exact steps and now I have a better phone.

Pros:

As I understand, the battery will last more (in my case battery last long enough before flashing).

I have a new good looking menu

Messages are displayed with larger charcters.

You can install java games from card.

Video streaming is working.

I suggest flashing from a laptop because a power fluctuation can't shut it down and do not run programs that may freeze your computer.

Cons:

Some lost time for installation.

If you choose a bad version of firmware i'll not see big differences from the original status.
